Bio-Node is a platform that makes the power and versatility of HPC cloud computing accessible to biological researchers. Yannick built a self-scaling Kubernetes-based system on GCP in his Master’s thesis at Rutgers. The system allows users to submit containerized tasks through a web-interface and makes use of a highly distributed computing cluster to execute these tasks.
